Sir Noël Coward was a renowned English playwright, composer, and actor known for his wit and flamboyant style. Born in Teddington, London, he began his professional stage career at eleven and went on to create over 50 plays, including Hay Fever, Private Lives, and Blithe Spirit. A decorated war effort included serving as the British propaganda office in Paris, earning him an Academy Honorary Award for the naval film drama In Which We Serve.
