Biography

Susumu Kurobe is a veteran Japanese actor born Takashi Yoshimoto on October 22, 1939. He has been closely associated with the Ultraman franchise since his debut as Shin Hayata in 1966, reprising the role numerous times throughout the series' history. In addition to his work in science fiction, Kurobe has appeared in various jidaigeki dramas and made notable guest appearances on television shows such as Ultra Q and Ōedo Sōsamō.
