Kang Hye-jung is a South Korean actress born on January 4, 1982, who rose to stardom with critically acclaimed roles in Park Chan-wook's Oldboy (2003) and Han Jae-rim's relationship drama Rules of Dating (2005), earning prestigious acting awards. Her early career was marked by small roles in TV dramas and films, including Nabi (2001) and Welcome to Dongmakgol (2005).
