Biography

Kim Braden is a British-born actress born in 1948, daughter of Canadian actors Bernard Braden and Barbara Kelly. She gained recognition for her title role in the BBC's 1972 adaptation of Anne of Green Gables, later reprising the role in the 1975 sequel, Anne of Avonlea. In 1981, she married director David Carson, with whom she has two children.
