Biography

Matti Lehtelä was a Finnish actor known for his roles in films such as "A Time of Roses" (1969) and the acclaimed adaptation of Joel Lehtonen's novel "Putkinotko" (1954), where he played Juutas Käkriäinen. He also had notable theatre career, performing with Tampereen Työväen Teatteri, Tampereen Teatteri, and Helsingin Kansanteatteri. Lehtelä appeared in nearly 100 films between 1934 and 1969, often playing comedic or authority figures.
