Biography

Yoshiko Nakamura was a Japanese actress and taiko drumming master known for her roles in "With Beauty and Sorrow" (1965) as an old woman in Arashiyama and "Twin Sisters of Kyoto" (1963). She also adopted the stage name "Seijun" in 1980, becoming the successor to a renowned taiko drumming family tradition. Nakamura passed away on December 3, 1987, at the age of 67.
