Biography

Inez Palange was an Italian-born American actress and singer, best known for her iconic role as Mrs. Camonte in the 1932 film Scarface. Prior to her film career, she was part of the comedy and singing duo Les Iris Palange with Alberto Palange, releasing recordings in Italian in the 1910s. Palange also performed in the first Italian language dialogue film, Sei tu l'amore?, released in 1930. Her distinctive performance in Scarface remains one of her most enduring claims to fame.
