Biography

Kunitarō Kawarasaki was a renowned Japanese actor and geiko, best known for his roles in "Tora-San Goes French" (1973) and as Jurozaemon Isogai in "The 47 Ronin" (1941). Born Kunitaro Matsuyama in 1909 in Hiroshima Prefecture, he began his career at the age of 19 with the famous actor Banryu Sato. Kawarasaki's distinctive acting style and versatility earned him numerous accolades, including prominent roles in films and television dramas. He passed away on October 11, 1990, at the age of 80.
