Paul Roland

Biography

Paul Roland was a Belgian actor and theatre director born in Brussels in 1925, who made his mark on stage with notable roles such as The Boss in "The Departure" (1967) and his critically acclaimed portrayal of Vladimir in Samuel Beckett's "En attendant Godot". He also won the prix d'interprétation masculine du Festival international de Barcelone for his role in Karl Wittlinger's "Connaissez-vous la voie lactée?" in 1961.
