Biography

Dick Richards was a drummer and actor born Richard Marley Boccelli on February 12, 1924, in Yeadon, Pennsylvania. He gained fame as a member of Bill Haley & His Comets, which he joined in April 1954 and left in September 1955 due to salary disputes. Richards also pursued an acting career, with notable roles including Gino Pontivini in "The Exterminator" (1980).
