Audrey Young was a talented American film actress and big-band singer born on October 30, 1922, in Los Angeles, California. She rose to prominence in the 1940s, singing with notable orchestras before becoming an actress, and appeared in around 20 films during that time, including "Love Me or Leave Me" and "Lady in the Dark". As the wife of director Billy Wilder, Young's career was marked by a mix of small and uncredited roles.
