Biography

Sidney Murray Matheson was an Australian-born actor who began his career at a young age, inspired by a touring production of "Sally" and his first stage performance in the musical "Roberta." He made his New York debut in 1950 with the Theatre Guild, later transitioning to film and television. Notable roles include Captain in "Assault on a Queen" (1966) and Dr. John Keith in "Love Is a Many-Splendored Thing" (1955).
