Iva Bittová

Biography

Iva Bittová, born July 22, 1958, in Bruntál, Czech Silesia, began her acting career in the mid-1970s, later switching to playing violin and singing in the early 1980s. She gained international recognition by 1990 with her unique vocal and instrumental technique, releasing over eight solo albums since then. Bittová has continued acting, appearing in films like Želary (2003), nominated for a Best Foreign Language Film Oscar.
