Miroslav Homola

Biography

Miroslav Homola was a Czech actor and operatic singer born on November 25, 1909, in Prague, to a family of officials. He studied drama at the Prague Conservatory from 1930 to 1934 and began his career in Prague's Vinohradsky Theatre before joining the Městských divadel pražských (City Opera Prague) ensemble in 1950, where he remained for 30 years. Known for his comedic roles and operatic performances, Homola also appeared on radio and television.
