Biography

Nelly Tagar is an Israeli actress and stand-up comedian born on November 30, 1982, to immigrant parents from Bulgaria. She rose to international acclaim for her roles in "Zero Motivation" (2014) and the Avi Nesher-directed film "Past Life" (2016), where she portrayed a character decades younger than herself. Tagar won the Israeli Academy Award for Best Actress in a TV Comedy for her performance in "Sisters".
