Zero Motivation

In the Israeli black comedy film "Zero Motivation," two soldiers, Zohar (Dana Ivgy) and Daffi (Nelly Tagar), struggle to serve out their mandatory service with the IDF. As they bide their time on a remote desert base, issues of commitment—from friendship to love and country—are handled with humor and sharp-edged wit. The film follows their relationships, including Zohar's unrequited crush on Eithan (Moshe Ashkenazi) and Daffi's attempts to advance her career, all set against the backdrop of a mundane office job and the girls' desperate attempts to escape boredom.
