Adila Bendimerad is a renowned Algerian actress, screenwriter, director, and producer, born in 1985. Her breakthrough came in 2011 with the film Normal! by Merzak Allouache, which catapulted her to prominence. She has since collaborated with esteemed directors from the MENA region, showcasing her versatility as a performer and creative. Her critically acclaimed film La Dernière Reine, cowritten and directed with Damien Ounouri, was released in 2023.
