Biography

Enid Gabriella Coleman, known professionally as Gabriella Coleman, is an anthropologist and author whose work explores politics, hacking cultures, and online activism. A full professor at Harvard University's Department of Anthropology, she has written about hacker communities, including those centered around free and open-source software, Anonymous, and security hackers. Her academic career includes a PhD in socio-cultural anthropology and postdoctoral fellowships.
