Biography

Hilary Lavender Mason was a British character actress known for her distinctive voice and appearances in various TV roles. Born in Birmingham on September 4, 1917, she trained at the London School of Dramatic Art before performing with repertory theatres nationwide. Her most notable international role came as blind psychic Heather in Nicolas Roeg's 1973 film Don't Look Now, for which she remains best known internationally.
