Biography

Matthew Todd Lauer is an American television news personality, best known for his work with NBC News. He anchored The Today Show from 1994 to 1997 and later became the show's co-host until 2017. A frequent contributor to Dateline NBC, Lauer also hosted the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and co-hosted Olympic Games. His contract was terminated by NBC in 2017 following allegations of inappropriate sexual behavior.
