Land of the Lost

A 2009 American science fiction adventure comedy film loosely based on Sid and Marty Krofft's television series of the same name, "Land of the Lost" follows a disgraced scientist, his assistant, and a theme park owner who are accidentally sucked into a space-time vortex and find themselves stranded in an alternate dimension. Along with their primate friend Chaka, they must navigate treacherous landscapes inhabited by marauding dinosaurs and the painfully slow creatures called Sleestaks. With no weapons and questionable smarts, the trio must rely on each other to survive long enough to figure out a way back home.
