Myra Edith Keaton was an American vaudeville performer and film actress born on March 13, 1877, in Modale, Iowa. She began performing with her family's medicine show as a teenager before marrying actor Joe Keaton and joining the act. Myra left the family's vaudeville act in 1917 due to marital issues, but remained married to Joe until his death, occasionally appearing in her son Buster's films alongside her husband.
