The Electric House

In this sidesplitting 1922 comedy, Buster Keaton plays a botany major who mistakenly graduates in electrical engineering, landing a job to wire a new home - but not without some high-voltage hijinks courtesy of his real life counterparts, the actual electrical engineer and various bewildered extras. Chaos ensues when the homeowner exacts revenge on the hapless botanist-turned-electrician by rewiring the gadgets he's installed, sending the would-be DIY expert careening into a world of mayhem. The film's zany antics are a perfect showcase for Keaton's signature deadpan style and physical comedy prowess.
