Joe Keaton

Biography

Joseph Hallie Keaton was a vaudeville performer and silent film actor born in Indiana, homesteading in Oklahoma before joining his son Buster's act, the Two (and later Three) Keatons. He eloped with Myra Edith Cutler in 1894, who became known as Myra Keaton and also performed with him. After his struggles with alcohol, he was supported by Buster after achieving success in silent film.
