Biography

Virginia Fox was born in Wheeling, West Virginia, and later traveled to Los Angeles, where she was discovered by Mack Sennett and became a bathing beauty in his films. She went on to star alongside Buster Keaton in notable silent films like "Neighbors" (1920). Fox married film producer Darryl F. Zanuck in 1924, with whom she had three children before retiring from acting.
