Laila Fawzi was an Egyptian actress and beauty pageant titleholder born in Turkey to Egyptian parents. She won the Miss Egypt contest in 1940 and went on to star in notable films such as "The Victorious Salah Eldin", "Hell's Ambassador", and "The Ladies of Garden City". Her career spanned over eight decades, earning her a reputation as one of Egypt's pioneering actresses.
