Oscar Shaw was a renowned American stage and screen actor and singer, best known for his iconic role as Bob Adams in the Marx Brothers' first film, The Cocoanuts (1929). A talented performer since childhood, Shaw's early career spanned over two decades, with notable appearances on both stages and screens. He shared a long and devoted marriage to Mary Louise Givler from 1913 until her passing in 1964.
