Anna Zemtsova was a Soviet silent film actress and film theorist, known for her work in films such as "Mat" (1926) and "Shakhmatnaya goryachka" (1925), alongside her husband Vsevolod Pudovkin. Zemtsova's personal life was marked by her support for Pudovkin, who was struggling with tuberculosis, and her own contributions to film theory, including a published article that caught the attention of Lev Kuleshov.
