David Sandberg

Biography

David Sandberg is a Swedish filmmaker and visual effects artist who began his career in commercials and music videos. He self-taught 3D animation at 16 and eventually pursued feature film ambitions. In 2012, he quit commercial work to fund the trailer for his film Kung Fury, which became a viral sensation. The film's Kickstarter campaign raised 4.3 million kronor and premiered at Cannes in 2015, earning him a Guldbagge award for Best Short Film.
