Iva Janžurová

Biography

Iva Janžurová is a Czech actress born on May 19, 1941. She graduated from the Faculty of Theatre at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague in 1963 and began her career at the Vinohrady Theatre in 1964. A two-time winner of the Czech Lion for Best Actress award, Janžurová has appeared in notable films such as Což takhle dát si špenát and Mareček, Pass Me the Pen!, and television series Hospital at the End of the City.
