Biography

Kim Young-Il was a South Korean actor and martial artist who rose to fame in South Korea through various drama series in the 90s, later gaining international recognition for his appearances in kung fu films. He began training in martial arts at a young age, earning a black belt in Taekwondo, and later trained as an actor at Shaw Brothers studio for six years. His early exposure to physical education and martial arts laid the foundation for his future career.
