In this 1979 Hong Kong martial arts film, Jackie Chan stars as Tang How-yuen, a young kung fu student whose master is brutally killed by a rival martial artist, Master Chung Li. As Tang seeks revenge, he becomes embroiled in a complex web of feuds and power struggles between local clans and gangsters. With its serious tone and little comedic relief, "Dragon Fist" marks a departure from Chan's typical action-comedy formula, showcasing his early range as an actor.
