Biography

Francis Leplay is a French actor and film director known for his versatility in both film and theater. His breakout role came in 1997 with Laurence Ferreira Barbosa's "J'ai horreur de l'amour", marking the beginning of a prolific career that spanned television, cinema, and literary works. Notable directors he has worked with include Sofia Coppola, Noémie Lvovsky, and Arnaud Desplechin. Leplay also co-directed the 2021 docufiction hybrid film "Acts of Love".
