Veruschka von Lehndorff is a German aristocrat, model, actress, and artist, widely regarded as the "first German supermodel." Born into an old noble House of Lehndorff in 1939, she grew up on her family's estate in East Prussia. Her early life was marked by tragedy when her father, a key member of the German Resistance, was executed at the age of five.
