Biography

Iván Petrovich was a Serbian film actor and singer born Svetislav Petrović on January 1, 1894, in Újvidék, Austria-Hungary. A talented athlete who competed in the 1912 Summer Olympics, he transitioned to a successful international movie career as the first Yugoslav actor to do so. He worked with notable directors in numerous films across multiple languages, including Hungarian, French, Spanish, Czechoslovakian, and Hollywood productions.
