Biography

Willie Tyler is a veteran American ventriloquist and comedian, best known for his stage shows alongside Lester. He made his television debut in 1972 on Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In and appeared in numerous films and TV commercials throughout the 1970s and 1980s. Notable roles include Virgil in the 1978 film Coming Home and appearances in The Jeffersons, Pacific Blue, and Saturday morning children's anthology series ABC Weekend Specials.
