Coming Home

In 1968 California, Sally Hyde (Jane Fonda), a loyal military wife, volunteers at a local Veterans Administration hospital, inspired by her friend Vi Munson, whose brother Bill has come home with grave emotional problems after two weeks in Vietnam. There, she meets Luke Martin (Jon Voight), a former high school classmate who suffered paralyzing injuries in the war. As they develop a romantic relationship, Sally is transformed and her outlook on life changes.
