David Steinberg

Biography

David Steinberg is a Canadian comedian, actor, writer, director, and author born on August 9, 1942, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He was a prominent stand-up comic in the US during the late 1960s and early 1970s, appearing on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson over 130 times. Steinberg has also directed numerous episodes of successful TV comedies, including Seinfeld, Friends, and Mad About You.
