In this unconventional dark comedy, Burt Reynolds stars as Wendell "Sonny" Lawson, a terminally ill real estate promoter who enlists the help of a delusional mental patient to aid in his suicide. With a twisted blend of humor and pathos, Sonny's journey becomes a surreal exploration of mortality, friendship, and the human condition.
