Peter Kurth is a German actor born on April 4, 1957, in Güstrow, East Germany. He began his acting career after attending the state drama school in Rostock from 1978 to 1981 and went on to perform at various theaters across Germany, including Schauspiel Leipzig and the Thalia Theater. Kurth's breakout role came in 2016 when he won the German Film Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of a boxer with ALS in "A Heavy Heart".
