Biography

Ciara Charteris is a South African-born British producer, writer, activist, and former actress. She is known for her roles in the BBC One period drama Poldark and the 2017 film Mary Shelley. After quitting acting in 2019, Charteris pursued a Master's degree in Psychology and Neuroscience at King's College London. She also co-founded the survivors' support network I Am Arla.
