Robert Cabal was born on April 7, 1917, in Honolulu, Hawaii, and went on to have a notable career in film and television, playing a wide range of ethnic types. He is best known for his recurring role as Patines, the horse wrangler, in the CBS series Rawhide. Cabal's unique facial features made him a sought-after actor, and he appeared in 46 films and television series between 1947 and 1967.
