Biography

Rimma Shorokhova was born on July 7, 1926, in Kuzino, Russia. She studied at the VGIK film academy and graduated in 1951, where she was mentored by Sergei Yutkevich and Mikhail Romm. She made her film debut in 1956's "Vesna na Zarechnoy ulitse" and later moved to Czechoslovakia, where she appeared in two films and recorded for radio.
