Douglas Seale was a distinguished English actor whose career spanned theatre and film. He trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and made his professional debut in 1934, serving in World War II before turning to producing and directing. Seale's stage success included a Tony nomination for Noises Off in 1983, while in film he voiced notable characters like Krebbs in The Rescuers Down Under and the Sultan in Aladdin.
