Mohammad Aghebati

Biography

Mohammad Aghebati is an Iranian theater director, scenic designer, and actor, born in 1975. He is the co-founder and artistic director of Maaa Theater, currently active in New York and Tehran, having staged productions such as "Oedipus the King" and "The Prince of Grief" by William Shakespeare. Aghebati holds an M.F.A in Performance and Media Arts from Brooklyn College, New York, and previously directed notable works like "King Lear" and "Where Do We Come From?" in Tehran and New York.
