Steve Ihnat was a Slovak-born American actor and director born on August 7, 1934, in Slovakia, who later moved to Canada with his family before settling in the US. He attended the Pasadena Playhouse and gained recognition for roles in "Madigan" (1968), "In Like Flint" (1967), and "Hour of the Gun" (1967). Ihnat also served in the US Army for two years, during which he won a poetry contest in South Korea.
