Biography

Alan Lake was born on November 24, 1940, in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. He studied acting at RADA and began working in television roles in 1964, eventually becoming the third husband of actress Diana Dors. The couple's tumultuous marriage produced a son and daughter with other partners, before ending in tragedy when Lake took his own life in 1984.
