Janice Miner was a talented American actress who rose to fame for her iconic role as Madge the manicurist in Palmolive dish-washing detergent commercials from the 1960s to the 1990s. She began her career on radio, starring in several series throughout the 1950s, and made her stage debut in a Boston production of Elmer Rice's Street Scene in 1945. Miner also appeared in notable roles on TV shows like Perry Mason and Casey, Crime Photographer.
