Fran Warren

Biography

Fran Warren was a celebrated American singer born into a Jewish family in The Bronx, New York on March 4, 1926. She began her career in the big bands of Art Mooney and Charlie Barnet before achieving recognition with Claude Thornhill, culminating in her first music chart hit "A Sunday Kind of Love" in 1947. Warren went on to have a successful solo career at RCA Victor and MGM Records, performing in notable musicals and collaborations.
