Toys Are Not for Children is a 1972 American exploitation film directed by Stanley H. Brassloff and starring Marcia Forbes as Jamie Godard, a developmentally-stunted young woman obsessed with her absent father, who becomes a prostitute after her marriage falls apart. Jamie's fixation on her father leads to a world of prostitution, where she engages in father-daughter roleplay with various men, including the pimp Eddie (Luis Arroyo) and Charlie Belmond (Harlan Cary Poe), her co-worker whom she marries but cannot consummate. After a radical attempt to save Jamie from her life of prostitution, Pearl Valdi (Evelyn Kingsley) orchestrates a meeting between Jamie and her father, Phillip, leading to a shocking incestuous encounter that triggers Jamie's psychological breakdown.
